By using our website or service, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Policy. Merchants who subscribe to our services will be subject to the terms contained in the Subscription Agreement entered into with us. 

 

This Policy does not apply to third party websites, products or services even if they link to our services or website or we link to theirs. Please refer to the privacy policies of those third parties.

3.1 General Information collected from visitors or merchants

We may electronically collect, store and use the following information:

3.1.1  Internet usage information, including your IP Address, browsing habits, click patterns, unique user ID, version of software installed, system type, screen resolutions, color capabilities, plug-ins, language settings, cookie preferences, search engine keywords, JavaScript enablement, the content and pages that you access on the website or platform, and the dates and times that you visit the website or platform, paths taken, and time spent on sites and pages within the website or platform; and 

3.1.2   Optional information you may provide on a voluntary basis, when completing online surveys, completing the subscription application form or submitting a contact request on the website.

3.2 Merchant information collected

Debi Bridge may electronically collect, store and use the following merchant information:

3.2.1  Full name/s, birth date, identity number and/or passport number, country of residence, nationality and contact details including mobile number and email address for individuals

3.2.2  Company name, registration number, VAT number, country of incorporation, physical address, and the personal details of all your directors, owners and/or office bearers, and contact details including email addresses, mobile numbers and landline numbers

2.1.1  You contact us to learn more about Debi Bridge and/or our services;

2.1.2  When registering as a merchant and at anytime thereafter when updating your merchant details;

2.1.3  When contacting our support desk team.

2.1.4  You respond to surveys by Debi Bridge

2.1.5 Through social media and any other online forums that Debi Bridge may make use of.

 2.2 Information that we collect automatically

2.2.1   When you access any Debi Bridge website, we may send one or more cookies to your hard drive to collect certain internet usage information. You can choose to prevent the site from storing cookies on your hard drive by disabling cookies in your browser options.

2.2.2   When accessing our website, merchant platform or open one of our HTML emails, certain internet usage information may be automatically collected and recorded by us from your system by using different types of tracking technology.

4.2  To determine eligibility for services and products;

If you are a merchant we retain your personal information for as long as we are providing the services to you. We retain personal information after we cease providing services to you to the extent to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. When we retain your personal information, we do so in accordance with any limitation periods and retention obligations that are imposed by applicable law.
